How do I add money to my Boost Wallet?
Here's what you can do to add money to your Boost Wallet:
- Tap on the wallet icon with balance amount i.e RMxx on the top right corner of the Boost App.
- Select the card that you have registered in the Boost wallet, or tap the Add icon on the top right and select your preferred options.
There are two options to add money in your wallet :
- a) Credit/Debit Card
- b) Online Banking
3.Log into your online Bank account and follow the instructions
4.Once the transaction is complete, the money will be added to your Boost wallet balance.
Is there a minimum or maximum amount of money I can add into my Boost Wallet?
The minimum amount of money that can be added into your Boost wallet is RM20. The maximum amount is dependent on your wallet size below;
Basic wallet limit = RM2,000
Premium wallet limit = RM4,999
Why can't I add money?
There are various reasons why you may be unable to add money. Please check and eliminate all the below-mentioned issues generally related to this:
- Check to confirm that your bank account has sufficient balance.
- Check with your bank if you have registered your card for online transactions, especially if you are using a debit card.
- Check if you have already reached your monthly spending limit of your credit card
- Check if your Boost wallet balance is reaching its limit. Basic Wallet has a limit of RM2000, while Premium Wallet has a limit of RM4,999.
- If all else is fine, try another mode of payment. Otherwise, share details with us by submitting a request. We're happy to help you out!
Why did I receive a timeout message when I was trying to add money?
Occasionally, this might happen when your phone has poor internet connectivity, or when your payment provider's systems are busy. You can try again once you have a better internet connection. If the problem persists, please submit a request to us and we will look into the matter.
How do I set up a payment method for my Boost wallet using credit/debit card?
Follow the steps below to add money using a Credit/debit Card:
- From your Boost Home page, select the Boost Wallet icon on the top right corner and you will navigated to the "Add Money" page.
- Click on the "Add Payment type" and select "Credit/Debit cards".
- Please enter your card details and you will be redirected to your Bank's secure payment screen where you will need to enter the 6-digit TAC sent via SMS.
- After you have selected your payment option, key in the amount you want to add and tap on the next button on your bottom right corner.
- You will now require to confirm the transaction by entering the Boost 6-digit transaction PIN.
- Once the transaction is complete, the money will be added to your Boost wallet balance.
How do I set up a payment method for my Boost wallet using online banking?
Follow the steps below to add money using online banking:
- From your Boost Home page, select the Boost Wallet icon on the top right corner and you will be navigated to the "Add Money" page.
- Click on the "Add Payment type" and select your preferred online Bank
- Key in the amount you want to add and tap on the next button on your bottom right corner
- Log into your online Bank account and follow the instructions
- Once the transaction is complete, the money will be added to your Boost wallet balance.
How do I request money?
Now with Boost, you can request money from friends and family! Just follow the steps as below:
- Navigate to the "Home" page and click on the "Request Money" button on the bottom right.
- You will be brought to the "Request money" screen.
- Enter your friend's mobile number under the "Mobile number" section, or choose from your phone address book.
- Enter the amount you would like to request.
- Add a note or attach a receipt if you'd like your friend to know what this is for.
- After checking through the details, confirm the request to proceed.
- You will be brought to the "Success" screen once the request have been sent.
I requested money from my friend using Boost, but they paid me back in cash. How do I mark it as paid?
To mark a pending transaction as paid, simply follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the "Transactions" page and click on the request.
- You will be brought to the Request page that includes all the details. Slide left on the contact name to mark the transaction as paid.
How do I make bill payments using my Boost Wallet?
To make bill payment from the Do More page, follow the steps below:
- Navigate to the "Do More" page
- Click on the Bills category
- Click on Add New Bill account and you will navigate to "Select Utilities" page
- Select the appropriate Utility type and select your provider from the list
- Click on "Plus" button to add your account details
- Enter the amount you wish to pay and click the "arrow button"
- You will be prompted to insert your 6 digit transaction PIN
- The Success page indicates that your bill payment was successful and money have been deducted from your Boost wallet.
- When you complete a payment successfully, your details will be automatically saved for future use. Click on "Bill & payment" button on Success page to view your saved account.
- If you need to add another account under the same biller, click on "Plus" button and fill in your account details.
Note: Only one (1) payment is accepted for one (1) biller in a day. A subsequent payment can be made to the same biller the next day.

How can I use Boost on the Fave App?
Simply top-up money into your Boost Wallet, and use it to pay for your purchases on the Fave App, be it FaveDeals or FavePay.
Can I top up my Boost wallet through Fave?
No, please proceed to the Boost app to top up.
Do I need to have the Boost app to enable this payment method?
Yes, you will need to have a Boost account to enable this payment method on either FavePay or FaveDeals.
If I am unable to top-up my Boost wallet or encounter any payment issue(s) before purchasing FaveDeals & FavePay, what should I do?
