Why am I getting SMS from Boost?
You will get SMS notification for the following activities:
- a. New device sign in
- b. Cash in via Card
- c. After reset PIN
- d. After reset Password
When you enter 5 incorrect attempts of PIN/Password, your account will be locked for a certain period to protect your account. You can send us an email to support@myboost.com.my for us to help.
What happens when I sign in to a new device which is different from the device I registered on?
You will be prompted to key in your 6-Digit PIN once you sign in using your mobile number and password. To ensure your wallet’s security, we will remove your saved credit/ debit details. Reenter your card details to start transacting!
I tried to key in my password or PIN and got logged out of the app. Once I try to sign in, it says my account is locked.

Boost App not opening and keeps hanging. What should I do next?
If you are experiencing technical difficulties while using Boost, do ensure that you have downloaded the latest version of Boost from the Google Play store or Apple App store as we continuously update the app with new features. If you are already running the most updated version of Boost and are still experiencing technical difficulties, please submit a request email to us at support@myboost.com.my or Message us on our visit our Facebook page @myboostapp and we will be right with you!
I have reached the maximum number of accounts that I can create on my phone. Why is this so?
We allow up to 2 Boost accounts on 1 mobile phone for security reasons. To ensure all Boost users experience the app in an optimum manner, we recommend registering not more than 2 Boost accounts on 1 device.
How do I sign out from my account?
For your convenience, you only need to sign in to Boost once and will remain signed in every time you open the Boost app. For maximum security though, we highly recommend that you log out of the app when you are done using it. To sign out, go to your "Profile" and scroll down and click on the "Sign out" button.
